Though not his hometown, it seems that Stan might have had childhood fantasies of making the Charleston area his home; after relocating here almost 40 years ago, Stan can't imagine having raised a family anywhere else. Now grown, Stan's three children enjoyed the area's many recreational activities – including cheerleading, musical outlets, and other community programs. They all attended acclaimed school systems coupled with the safe, secure neighborhoods that comprise Mt. Pleasant. For that reason, his daughter and son-in-law are raising their family in the Low Country, too.
As Stan likes to say "I guess I have sand in my shoes. I love the boating and beach lifestyle. My family and I enjoy going out on the boat. It's a wonderful experience to see the history of Charleston from the water."
