Ladson, South Carolina

Bordered by Summerville, North Charleston, Goose Creek, and Sangaree - Ladson, SC is referred to as the "Town" of Ladson, but it's actually what's called a "Census-Designated Place" or CDP. And while the definition of a CDP is "a concentration of population", that really doesn't do the town of Ladson justice. Residents enjoy the benefits of both rural and suburban living in Ladson with restaurants and shopping close by, convenient access to the rest of the tri-county area, and home to Exchange Park which hosts a wide variety of exhibitions, live music, and the annual Coastal Carolina Fair. Francis Marion National Forest, Azalea Park, Westcoff Golf Club, and both the Cooper and Ashley Rivers are all nearby for plenty of outdoor activities, too.
