Isle of Palms, South Carolina

Isle of Palms (Also affectionately referred to as "IOP") is a city located on a narrow barrier island north of Sullivans Island and accessed via the IOP connector in Mount Pleasant or from Sullivans Island via a bridge. The city is known for its many condos and restaurants but also for Wild Dunes Resort and as the favored annual nesting grounds for sea turtles. The town's two world-class golf courses, marked bike paths, and access to a wealth of outdoor activities make it a popular destination for families, retirees, and solo travelers alike.
